About Me

Welcome to ANICETO.COM. and thanks for stopping by.

My name is Jose Aniceto and I’m a software developer by heart. My professional software development experience has been wide and varied. I have been involved in different stages of software development projects from gathering user requirements, software development, testing and production implementations. I used to be a devout Unix developer, thinking that it is a superior operating system to Windows and I still do.

As the saying goes, if you can’t beat them, join them. So I converted to the Windows camp. In my professional career, I have used different programming languages and operating systems but these days I develop software in .NET using C# and write software mostly for the Windows platform. Yes, including server applications that rival Java/Unix solutions.

Over the years aniceto.com has taken different identities and has seen varying content. This site now contains my blog and musing about software development, C#/.NET and my current studies at Charles Sturt University. Yes, there are a lot of sites out there that offer the same topics and rants. There are also a lot of C# and .NET topics out there. However, most of them are outdated or the sample code do not work at all. Worse, a lot have misleading titles that just waste web space and bandwidth.

I started out with .NET since it was in beta 1.1 and wrote a few articles for Suite101. You can find my old site here.

I’m currently working as a software developer for FlowBiz Pty Ltd where we do workflow automation. On my spare time, I play competitive table tennis.

Hope you enjoy this site.
